The winners of the Public Award and the Basic Packaging Platinum Award on the 2021 European Carton Excellence Awards have been produced with paperboard from Metsä Board, a part of Metsä Group. The outcomes have been introduced at a digital ceremony held on eighth September.
The brand new ‘Smarties Large Hexatube’ received the general public voting. It’s a plastic-free pack, comprised of a one-piece building made completely from recyclable paperboard with an built-in cartonboard lid. The carton was produced by WestRock on MetsäBoard Professional FBB Shiny light-weight paperboard.
Yves Rocher’s luxurious New Yr make-up calendar, produced by Durero Packaging, was offered with a Platinum Award, Basic Packaging, Virgin Fibre. The engaging heptagonal pack is made up of seven equivalent, linked cartonboard triangular instances, every containing a person make-up reward. The calendar is made utilizing MetsäBoard Prime FBB Shiny light-weight paperboard.
