A SALISBURY faculty is only one of 69 throughout the nation to obtain a celebration tree, as a part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee preparations.
The Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire Sarah Troughton has revealed that Pembroke Park Major College was chosen to plant an oak tree to mark subsequent 12 months’s Jubilee celebrations and tree planting initiative the Queen’s Inexperienced Cover (QGC).
The first faculty was gifted the tree as one institution in “an space of socioeconomic deprivation”.
The celebration tree was planted on October 5, alongside a time capsule put collectively by pupils, representing life in 2021.
